Autumnal Equinox Audax (UAF)
This is an audax brevet, sanctioned by the Union d'Audax Francais (UAF). Audax brevets follow a different format than traditional free-pacing brevets we typically host. Most notably, in an audax brevet, we leave together, we arrive together, and we stay together for the entire ride. We also can't finish before a certain time, so we need to throttle our pace.
Put simply, this is a ride for people who want to ride as a group, take their time, and enjoy the company.
Audax Rules
There are specific rules we must follow on an audax ride, in order for it to be sanctioned by UAF. Full list available here: UAF Rules
The TL;DR of it is:
- We need to stay together. This is absolutely a no-drop ride.
- The rolling pace is 22.5kph. If the group wants to go faster, that is okay, but no one will be made to suffer, and we do have a minimum time to honour.
