Tour of Nottawasaga Bay 600K Photos

Text by Phil Piltch, photos by Phil Piltch and Steve Rheault

Seven riders completed this brevet, three of whom were completing their first 600, and in the process their first Super Randonneur. Anne, who joined the club this year, completed an SR in her first year with the club. From St. Jacobs west through Linwood and north through Clifford, Neustadt and Hanover, the route passed many Mennonite settlements and farms. After a quick nip north to Owen Sound, the route took riders east to Meaford and then along the shores of Nottawasaga Bay, through Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, to the tip of the Penetang penisula. Then south through rather lumpy terrain past Horseshoe Valley to Barrie and then on back to the finish.
